Getting Started

App Installation

For iOS (iPhone/iPad):

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad

2. Search for "Learny^®"

3. Tap "Get" and install the app

4. Open Learny^® and start learning!

For Android:

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device

2. Search for "Learny^®" or "com.schmacher.learny"

3. Tap "Install"

4. Open Learny^® and begin your learning journey!

Create Your First Subject

1. Tap the plus symbol (+)

2. Enter a name for your subject

3. Choose a color and icon

4. Tap "Create"

Creating Flashcards

Manual Input

• Open a subject and tap "Add Card"

• Enter question and answer

• Optional: Add images

• Tap "Save"

AI Generation with Google Gemini

• Select "Create with AI"

• Enter a topic or text

• AI automatically generates question-answer pairs

• Review and edit cards as needed

Text Scanner

• Select "Scan Text"

• Point camera at a document

• The app automatically recognizes text

• Learny^® converts text into flashcards

Learning Modes

Classic Learning

• Tap the card to see the answer

• Swipe right for "Correct"

• Swipe left for "Incorrect"

Voice Recognition

• Enable voice recognition in settings

• Speak the answer aloud

• The app automatically checks your answer

• Tap the speaker icon

• The card is read aloud

Cloud Synchronization

iOS (iCloud):

• Enable iCloud in app settings

• Your cards sync automatically between iOS devices

• Requires active iCloud login

Android (Google Drive):

• Enable Google Drive Sync in app settings

• Your cards sync automatically between Android devices

• Requires active Google account

Export Data

• Select a subject

• Tap "Export"

• Choose format (CSV, JSON)

• Share or save the file

Import Data

• Tap "Import"

• Select a CSV or JSON file

• Cards are automatically added

Can I use Learny^® offline?

Yes! All created cards work offline. You only need internet for AI generation and synchronization.

How many languages are supported?

Learny^® supports 21 languages: German, English, Italian, Spanish, French, Slovenian, Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Greek, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Portuguese and Dutch.

Can I share my cards with others?

Yes! Export your cards and share the file with other Learny^® users.

How secure is my data?

Your data is stored encrypted. iCloud synchronization follows Apple security standards. Details in our Privacy Policy.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You keep access until the end of the billing period. Then the app switches to the free version with 3 subjects and 50 cards each.

Troubleshooting

The app crashes

• Make sure you have the latest version

• Restart your device

• Reinstall the app (your data remains in iCloud)

Synchronization not working

• Check your internet connection

• Make sure iCloud is enabled

• Sign out of iCloud and sign back in
